2. Answering a letter

It was great to hear from you. You are more than welcomed to use my lake house, but it’s doubtful that I’ll be able to join you. I already have a vacation planned for Europe this summer. I can’t really skip a trip like that. I’ve been fishing with you before, so if you’re really planning on entering the fishing tournament, check out a book on fishing from the library and read it. You’ll be fishing with professionals. And, believe it or not, there’s a proper way to fish in the tournament. And, of course, you’re welcomed to try out my new fishing equipment.

I’ve never gone anywhere exciting, and I’ve always wanted to travel around the world. I had planned to visit all continents: Africa, Asia, Europe, Antarctica, North America, and South America because I love visiting museums and learning about the history of unusual places in the world. But a trip like that requires a lot of money. I knew I could probably work all my life and die before I’d ever earn enough money for that kind of trip. So I joined the military. I selected the Air Force, and I think my selection is right for me.

Shall I employ live-in housekeeper?

Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre is situated on the banks of the River Thames, about 200 metres from the original site of Shakespeare’s 1599 building. It is a faithful reconstruction of the open-air playhouse where Shakespeare worked, and for which he wrote many of his greatest plays. Due to the fact that the theatre is open to the sky, the season is limited to only six months of the year, running from April to October. However, guided tours of the theatre are held all year round, and the neighbouring exhibition centre is also open to visitors.
